Formwork project in Sweden
22.10.2008

Malthus in Sweden AB is the chosen supplier of formwork for a new hotel that is under construction in Sandviken.

It is the huge Sandvik AB company that is extending their own hotel "Bruksgården" with 42 new rooms.

The building is scheduled to be completed by the end of 2009.

The hotel is supposed to be built in the same style as the old "Bruksgården" hotel from 1871.

Sandvik AB welcomes many international guests on a daily basis, and these guestroom will come in handy, as the hotel capacity in Sandviken town is already overstretched.

Lars Wirdby Bygg AB is the local construction company in charge of this project. It is this company that has ordered the largest formwork order we have seen so far.

The Malthus formwork system fits very well into the crammed worksite, as it can be assembled without the use of a crane. This is very much appreciated by the workers that assemble the formwork!
