New CEO in Malthus
Espen Ingebretsen has been appointed the CEO position in Malthus AS. He replaces Trond Hatlestad who resigns from this position after nearly 16 years as head of the company.
- The Board notes Trond Hatlestad's decision, and gives him respect and understandig for his choice, says Chairman of the Board Terje Vareberg. Hatlestad will join the board and maintain his expertise and continuity in the company as a shareholder.
- At the same time the Board is pleased that a capable leader with international experience has agreed to succeed Hatlestad, says Vareberg.
Espen Ingebretsen (39), is Director for Global Operations in Oceaneering's Division Deepwater Technical Solutions.
From Ingebretsen's time for Brown & Root in 1995 he has held international positions in BP, Shell and Oceaneering. This competence is essential for Malthus growth and development in the future, both in Norway as well as internationally.
- Ingebretsen has extensive management expertise and a solid experience from Norwegian and international business, and he has proven to be a strong and dynamic leader, concludes Vareberg.
